OK, this morning I am watching headline news. In case you were wondering the always toothful and uterlly truthful Christi Paul was sitting in for Bubbles–I mean Robin Mead–who usually hosts the show.
So I’ma watchin’ as I eats me breakfast and the blue suited harbinger of truth tells the story of a man and his young son who were almost injured when they picked up and began to play with what they believed was a ball but was in reality an improvised bomb.
SHOCK, HORROR.
But it gets worse: While luckily the two were not harmed when it exploded, Christi goes on to describe EXACTLY HOW THE BOMB WAS MADE.

Yup, out of the 30 minutes Headline News gets every day to bring you the news, appartently nobody considered that telling people how to make a bomb out of readily available, common materials was no big deal.
When I was a teenager I wasn’t an anarchist, I didn’t want to blow up my classmates, but I did like to see things blow up. It was cool in a chemistry nerd kind of way. I gotta tell ya, if someone had told me when I was 17 how to make one of these simple bombs I would have done it. Maybe I would have not hurt myself, maybe I would have only lost a hand or an eye.
Still, even though CNN Headline News probably wrote this story in the middle of the night, I wish they’d thought this through.
Good Morning Sunshine indeed.
