Please take me back, I need you…

My Beloved WordPress,

I know we’ve had problems in the past. How stupid I have been. I know those other blog sites were trash. I let my lust for a flashy set of options cloud my vision.

Even if you never blog with me again I need you to know you are the only true blog site for me. Those other blog sites didn’t mean anything. I guess I was just sowing my wild posts.

I have no right to ask your forgiveness or to expect you will ever take me back, but I love you. Just as you are. I love your sleek dashboard. I love the way you eliminate my spam. I love the way you showed me how to really blog. It wasn’t my first time, but before you I was just a bumbling hack. You helped me grow into a real blogger. One who knew how to please a blog site.

I don’t see how I can blog without you. I need you. Please take me back and let me blog you again. Let me run my eyes over your web 2.0 interface and drink all of you in. Let me experience the fullness of your widgets. Let me create the sensual ecstasy only a graphic header can provide.

If you say you can never be my blog site again I understand. I don’t deserve you–heck, a guy like me deserves a skank like Blogger. But with you I know I can become the blogger you need me to be. You can teach me and I will post you. Every day.

Please forgive me and take me back.
